The Minister of National Security, Sabina Frederic, reported that she gave the order

to retire to three gendarmes

allegedly involved in the complaint that repressive material was sent to Bolivia to remove Evo Morales from power in 2019.

Frederic made this confirmation on Monday night after presenting earlier - together with Minister Martín Soria and

Mercedes Marcó del Pont, head of the AFIP

- a criminal complaint against Mauricio Macri and the former members of his cabinet Patricia Bullrich, Jorge Faurie and Oscar Aguad, and a handful of former officials for

"aggravated smuggling."

The accusation is for the

"irregular shipment of weapons and ammunition"

to Bolivia "through an adulteration in the quantities and destinations declared in the different control instances and, in particular, before the customs service".

"What the complaint reveals is the concurrence of a series of agencies and

authorities during the Macri government

to make this diversion of anti-riot material possible, especially what is mentioned in the letter's gratitude," Frederic told

C5N

.

The letter referred to by Frederic was the one shown days ago by the Bolivian government.

According to that text, it was sent by the then general commander of the Bolivian Air Force,

Jorge Gonzalo Terceros Lara

, where he "thanks" the former Argentine ambassador, Normando Álvarez García, "for the collaboration he has provided."

The letter is dated November 13, 2019. It reads that "the following military material of chemical agents was received: 40 thousand AT12 / 70 cartridges; 18 MK-9 tear gas spray; 5 MK-4 tear gas spray ; 50 CN gas grenades; 19 CS gas grenades, and 52 HC gas grenades ".

The veracity of that document was questioned by defendants.

And Macri himself wrote a post denying the accusation.

As well as the then Argentine ambassador to Bolivia.

The names

In a television dialogue, Frederic clarified that "it is not the entire Gendarmerie" that is involved, but

"some members

.

"

"I ordered the Gendarmerie commander to speed up the mechanism for making

these three officers available,

" the official completed.

Frederic reported that the three involved are Carlos Miguel

Recalde

(former director of the Gendarmerie Operations Directorate), Rubén Carlos

Yavorski

(former Gendarmerie Major Director of Logistics Commander) and

Gerardo José Otero

(former Director of the National Gendarmerie).

The letter that the Bolivian authorities showed to denounce the collaboration of Mauricio Macri in the removal of Evo Morales.

The complaint, of 20 pages, was presented this Monday in the Economic Criminal jurisdiction after an investigation by

Customs

and the

Ministry of Security

for the temporary export of war material in November 2019 - it must be re-entered into the country - that both the former President as Bullrich justified as part of the shipment to guard the Argentine embassy in Bolivia.

This Monday - with a harsh letter addressed to Alberto Fernández - Patricia Bullrich again denied, for her part, the facts that the Bolivian and Argentine governments report.

"Pain and shame cause the recklessness, impudence and speed with which you compromise the Argentine State by

acknowledging such an accusation without the slightest investigation or proof

, for the sole fact that at that time a president of a different party ruled the country yours, "said the former official.
