The defendant who pleaded guilty apologized to the client through a lawyer, while some defendants emphasized that he did not use force that day.
Judge Ye Zuowen kept saying when he heard the plea that the people in the station that day were leaving: "Everyone is gone, hit?" To put it bluntly, seeing the incident was "heartbreaking", thinking that all the assailants were at the time. The attack on an unknown person on the platform, whose behavior has become irrational, is undoubtedly an indiscriminate attack.
Ye Guan reiterated that the case was serious and that some defendants might be sentenced to higher sentences.
When the defendant's family left the court, they used their mobile phones to film the reporter and approached them for a while, and then tried to block the filming. As they left, they shouted: "Use the National Security Law to show you what you are."
The second defendant pleaded not to use violence
The defendant Huang Yingjie’s defense lawyer pleaded in court that the defendant did not use violence. "He can easily hold a bottleneck, but he didn’t do it." He also accused the defendant of admitting the incident in the police station, although in the end he did not use violence. Pleaded guilty but hoped to consider reducing the sentence.
Judge Ye Zuowen pointed out that the defendant is not a "fighting at ten times." The ruling did not mean that he was involved, but he was an encouragement. Ye Guan said that he agreed that the defendant had a lighter role, but from the footage, the defendant could be recognized. Voice, even if the defendant admits to the case, is not a factor of defense.
The third defendant said he believed in Christianity afterwards
The third defendant, Lin Guanliang, pleaded guilty before the trial. His defense lawyer pointed out that Lin had pleaded guilty immediately and believed in Christianity after he returned. Three pastors proved that he had changed his mind. He solemnly apologized to the client on behalf of the defendant.

Ye Guan pointed out that the attack on the platform is more serious than the lobby. I believe everyone will feel it. It seems to be a loss of reason." Ye Guan said that he was fortunate that the defendant had pleaded guilty and had the last bottom line, but he would still consider a higher sentence.

The sixth defendant "Fei Tiannan" Wu Weinan was found guilty after trial. His lawyer once again emphasized that Wu was hit by "Something" before fainting on the same day and was almost killed. He also accused the Yuen Long Yinglong encirclement case. When the defendant pulled a man, Wu had not yet arrived at the scene, and hoped that the judge could consider sentencing.

The lawyer representing the eighth defendant, Cai Liji, pointed out that Cai's background report stated that Cai was filial. Although he had a criminal record, he has not committed any more crimes. He described the defendant as "different" when the crime happened.

Before the adjournment of the court, Ye Guan reminded the defendants that although the defendant stated that he had been a volunteer and other good deeds during the intercession, the statement must be substantive and quantified. This is not enough to be regarded as a commutation factor.
Ye Guan also stated that he understood that the defendant had a family, but he had not reached the humanitarian grounds to plead. If necessary, the defense should submit supplementary information as soon as possible.

8 defendants, 2 pleaded guilty, and 1 offended
The two defendants who pleaded guilty include: Lin Guanliang (48 years old, second-hand car sales) and Lin Qiming (43 years old, car sales manager). They pleaded guilty to riots before the trial. The original charge of assault was not prosecuted.
The other 6 defendants were interrogated, including: Wang Zhirong (55 years old, transportation worker), Huang Yingjie (48 years old, cable mechanic), Deng Huaichen (60 years old, owner of the barbecue site), Wu Weinan (57 years old, truck driver), Deng Yingbin (61 Years old, unemployed) and Cai Liji (40 years old, mechanic), they were charged with participating in riots, conspiracy to injure people with intent, and crimes with intent to injure people.
Except for the first defendant, Wang Zhirong, who was freed from crime, all the other five were convicted.
The remaining three convicted defendants will intercede tomorrow (14th). The case has been sentenced on July 22 and all defendants must be remanded in custody.
