Daraa-Sana
Today, the branch of the Arab Writers Union in Daraa held the Poetry Loyalty Festival, on the occasion of the achievement of the presidential elections, at the House of Culture in the city
The poetic readings varied between the patriotic and the sentimental, through which the poets reflected the state of the homeland and the pain of alienation, and some of them penetrated the depths of the human being to discover the self.
The poet Samir al-Matrood was inspired by his poem from the martyrdom of one of his relatives who fought terrorism in the Syrian desert, in which he affirmed that the victories of the Syrian Arab Army were achieved thanks to the blood of the martyrs and the sacrifices of the wounded.
The poet Alloush Assaf addressed in his first poem the pain of exile and the effects of displacement after years of war, while in his second poem he referred to the beloved land.
The two poets, Munir Khalaf and Qahtan Bayrakdar, embodied the emotional state and the state of loss experienced by the human being, pointing out that they are trying, through poetic poems, to penetrate the depths of the human being to discover the self.
The head of the Arab Writers Union branch, Ibrahim Abbas Yassin, explained in his speech that this festival comes in the midst of our people's celebrations of the achievement of the presidential elections, indicating that the poetic readings are trying to embody the national situation and the victories that our people experienced.
