The general commander of the Bolivian Police, Jhonny Aguilera, confirmed the existence of weapons that were sent from Argentina and that would be found in the deposits of that institution during an interview provided to Radio San Gabriel and according to the Bolivian Agency of ABI News.
However, he affirmed that there is no corresponding documentation.
He also assured that the police officers responsible for receiving the weapons in November 2019 will be investigated.
Aguilera indicated that there are gas grenades, pepper gas and 12/70 caliber ammunition in their warehouses, among other weapons.
Likewise, he clarified that the reconstruction of the arrival of this material from the Argentine Republic to the airport of the city of El Alto will be carried out in order to identify those responsible.
