Dina Stars: "There are security guards outside. I have to go."
She is arrested in the middle of the television interview: The government-critical Cuban blogger Dina Stars is live on the Spanish broadcaster Cuatro's "Todo es Mentira" program when she is taken away from her apartment by alleged government officials.
Dina Stars: "I blame the government for whatever happens to me. I have to go."
A Twitter video shows how the officers take her away in a car. Previously, the blogger had asked Stars in an interview about the demonstrations on Sunday for help and pointed out the plight of the Cubans. Thousands of people took to the streets against the oppression of the regime and because of the food shortage, lack of medicines and high prices in the Caribbean country. In Miami as well as in Latin American cities like here in Buenos Aires, numerous people showed solidarity with the protests. The Cuban government accuses Cuban exiles in the United States of sparking the riot via social media.
