Emmy Awards 2021: the nominees in the main categories

For the 2021 Emmy Awards, "The Mandalorian" and "The Crown" garnered the most nominations per show with 24 each.

Nominations for the 73rd Annual Emmy Awards were announced on Tuesday.

Father and daughter actors Ron Cephas Jones from "This Is Us" and Jasmine Cephas Jones from "Blindspotting" revealed the nominees.

"The Mandalorian" and "The Crown" garnered the most nominations per show with 24 each, followed by "WandaVision" with 23.

"WandaVision" was among the shows nominated for multiple Emmy Awards.

Qualified programs must have aired in the last year between June 1, 2020 and May 31, 2021.

Cedric the Entertainer will host and the official ceremony will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on September 19.

There will be a limited audience comprised of the nominees and their guests.

The ceremony will air on CBS and will be available to broadcast live and on demand on Paramount +.
