Summary.
On July 14, the 24-hour news channel CNews joined forces with Europe 1 radio to broadcast the same program from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the occasion of the National Day military parade.
The two media have recently shared the same main shareholder, businessman Vincent Bolloré.
Faced with this arrival, radio journalists fear that the conservative editorial line which has made CNews so successful will impose itself on their airwaves.
Several great voices from Europe 1, like Patrick Cohen, mobilized at the end of June, during an exceptional five-day strike.
And the list of departures of journalists, voluntary or forced, continues to grow.
This episode of Source Code is narrated by Michaël Zoltobroda and Kevin Boucher, media specialists at Le Parisien.
