The preparations of the Syrian Olympic football team continue within its preparatory camp in Aleppo, which extends until the nineteenth of this month, in preparation for the qualifiers for the Asian Cup in Uzbekistan 2022.
The camp of our national team, which is currently being held at the 7th of April Stadium, includes every day two training sessions, the first in the morning focused on strengthening the physical side of the players, and the evening in which the focus is on the tactical and skill side.
Our team started its camp last Sunday under the leadership of coach Raafat Muhammad, with the participation of players Anas Bitar, Nour Asil, Abdel Baset Boustani, Mohamed Hassouna, Abdel Hadi Hanabzali, Haitham Al-Louz, Mustafa Safrany, Rami Al Turk, Abdel Razzaq Boustany, Adham Ghandour, Majd Al Ghayeb, Dia Al Haq Mohammed, Ayman Akil, Abdel Gawad Bitar, Ahmed Ali Al Dali, Louay Al Sharif and And Ali Bashmani
Muhammad Harb, Fawaz Bawadaqji, Ibrahim Jumruk, Abd al-Hadi Shalha, Muhammad Rihaniyah, Omar Na`nu`, Zakaria Aziza, and Hassan Quraili.
The qualifiers were drawn for our team in Group A along with Qatar, Yemen and Sri Lanka, whose matches will be held in Doha in a single-stage pool system between October 23-30.
According to the qualifying system, the 11 group winners, in addition to the four best second-placed teams, in addition to the host Uzbekistan, qualify.
Our team had recently conducted a training camp in Lebanon in preparation for the qualifiers, during which it met its Lebanese counterpart in two friendly matches, tied in the first with two goals to the same, and won in the second by three goals to one.
