Today, Iraqi forces arrested six terrorists in the capital, Baghdad, and two terrorists in Salah al-Din Governorate.
Alsumaria News quoted the Iraqi Operations Command as saying in a statement that a force from the 44th Brigade managed, with intelligence coordination, during a tight ambush, to arrest six suspects in accordance with Article 4 of terrorism in the capital, Baghdad.
The statement added that a joint force of the Intelligence Agency and the Federal Police arrested two wanted persons in terrorist cases in Samarra, Salah al-Din Governorate, indicating that they were referred to the competent authorities.
The Iraqi forces continue to pursue the remnants of the remaining ISIS terrorists in various parts of the country.
