The International Exhibition of Shipping and Customs Clearance, which is held on the grounds of the fairgrounds in Damascus, provided an opportunity for the participants to present their services in the field of transporting goods and merchandise and to conclude understandings with the participating Arab delegations.
Jamal Al-Hakim from the shipping department at Cham Wings Airlines explained in a statement to SANA that the exhibition allowed the company to introduce its services in the field of shipping, transporting goods, mail, luggage, live animals and medical materials, indicating that the company currently serves Kuwait, Muscat, Sharjah, Baghdad, Erbil, Najaf, Moscow and Yerevan, in addition to being launched recently. Majhem Al-Hussein Malik from one of the companies shipping goods to Iraq indicated that there were many delegations who visited the company’s pavilion from Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon in order to conclude understandings, pointing out that the exhibition provided many logistical services through the presence of a number of official authorities in it.
Director of the Directorate of Syrian Airlines Abdul Aziz Karbouj pointed out that the company is always keen to participate in such exhibitions, as it is the first government carrier, indicating that participation in the exhibition is a message to the world that Syrian Airlines, despite the war and unilateral coercive measures, continues to operate and transports its passengers to different cities and capitals. around the world.
In turn, the Director of Sales at a marketing and financial consulting company explained that their goal of participation is to identify shipping and customs clearance companies and provide their services to them as feasibility studies for emerging projects to launch them correctly and to re-launch stumbling projects in addition to all electronic services and visual identity, whether for companies or individuals.
Engineer Amin Hamadeh from a company specializing in smart technology also mentioned that their participation to provide services related to the computer “hard ware” and “software” in addition to the software for shipping companies and their automation and monitoring and warning systems, indicating that their goal of participation is to present services to the companies in the exhibition, which can be benefit from it.
Yasser Abu Al-Shamat, manager of an administrative services company, explained that his company provides facilities for investors with regard to licenses and enabling the practice of their work in Syria, such as the services of establishing companies of all kinds, issuing the articles of association for them, financially processing them, securing permanent or temporary headquarters, and obtaining a commercial register, indicating that their company provides the industrialists with initial steps for approval. The industrial registry and the protection of patents and intellectual trademarks.
The exhibition, which is being held for the first time in Syria, will continue on the exhibition grounds in Damascus on an area of 1,200 square meters until Thursday, with the participation of 54 Arab, foreign and local companies and chambers of commerce and countries including Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Iran.
