With the participation of 50 players from the age groups in various competitions “Free, Back, Butterfly and Various”, a friendly swimming meeting was held between the teams of Homs and Tartous in the Al Wahda pool in Homs.

The results of the junior category in the 100-meter freestyle race resulted in the victory of Muhammad Salem, followed by Anas Ibrahim from Homs. Jana Ahmed from Tartous came first, followed by Sarah Ibrahim from Homs. In the 100-meter butterfly race, Hassan Al-Najjar came first, followed by Hadi Mualla from Homs, Raneem Ahmed from Tartous and then Yamar. Abboud from Homs, and in the 100-meter breaststroke race, Hammadi Odeh came first, then Ibrahim Al-Salem, both from Homs. In the female category, Raneem Ahmed from Tartous came first, then Sarah Ibrahim from Homs.

Head of the Technical Committee for Swimming Raafat Sharbak, in his statement to SANA correspondent, pointed out the importance of friendly meetings in developing the technical levels of the players and providing them with opportunities for contact and increasing their experience, explaining that the results were promising for a promising future for swimming in Homs.
