Corona has already made a lot (im) possible - now also a Neufahrner New Year's Concert in July.
The Viennese world music trio Cobario had come to the OMG.
Neufahrn
- The Viennese Schmäh is such a case for the world cultural heritage - and this trio has it.
The humiliation is part of the moderation and also finely packed in the lyrics.
The trappings of the music had something of cabaret when the gentlemen talk about what they experience as Austrian cultural ambassadors on their concert tours.
With high entertainment value, they tell of slipping into a Romanian wedding, where after five rounds of schnapps the old Mercedes is offered and after the tenth round the bride's aging sister is offered.
The Viennese and their joke are just a good match.
The former street musicians combine many different styles of music
"In 15 years of band history we have been to 30 countries, but never in Neufahrn," joked the musicians during the guest performance in the auditorium of the Oskar-Maria-Graf-Gymnasium. There was enough space and air there to hold a safe concert in better times. The three on stage could tell how well this new normal did them after a few months with virtual Internet concerts. And the Neufahrner audience got a lot for their money - because Cobario doesn't fit into any drawer. The former street musicians combine many different styles of music from classic to modern, have surprise effects and entertainment value.
One of the songs was called "Time" and was the right composition for the lockdown, in which many artists had to pass this time around.
The song will speak from the soul of many musicians.
To go with it: a New Year's concert in summer.
