At the request of the Minister of Health: The strike of hospital workers has been frozen

The Committee of Workers of the Economy and the Administration and the Histadrut agreed with Minister Horowitz on the freezing of the strike, which began two days ago for 45 days.

Horowitz, for his part, promised that he would hold discussions with the finance ministry on the issue and even work to prioritize it.

On Sunday, other health workers were also scheduled to join the strike

The committee of the administration and the economy in the hospitals and the Histadrut agreed today (Thursday) at the request of Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz to freeze the strike in which they began two days ago in protest of their terms of employment.

During the meeting of the parties, the Minister of Health promised to conduct the discussions on the issue with the Ministry of Finance and even to prioritize the issue in the discussions.

In return, committee representatives agreed to freeze the strike for 45 days.
