In the aftermath of the announcement of the Brussels measures intended to accelerate the decarbonisation of the continent, in particular by boosting sales of electric vehicles, the ministers of ecological transition and of Transport played the good students.

The minister updated the figures for the number of equipment open to the public: there are now 43,700 charging points in France, i.e. 10,000 more than on May 1, according to figures published by Avere.
The government, which had set a target of 100,000 public terminals by the end of the year, will therefore fail to achieve it.
