Amberg - On Monday (July 12), a 92-year-old resident of an old people's home in Amberg was found dead with stab wounds in his room.
The help of the rescue service and emergency doctor on site came too late, the senior died on site.
On Tuesday, the forensic medicine institute in Erlangen autopsied the body, as the Upper Palatinate police headquarters wrote in a report.
It was found that the stab wounds caused by a knife were the cause of death.
Amberg: Third party debt is excluded
The current investigations indicate that the senior did not die through third-party negligence or an accident.
Nevertheless, the investigations into the death continue.
