The Bockhorn holiday program has a lot to offer.

Many popular events from previous years are repeated.

The boat race on the Strogn should be a highlight.

Bockhorn - exciting experiences, sport and entertainment in equal measure, good for creativity and fitness: this is the best way to describe the community's holiday program.

Although it is not easy to organize and take corona measures, Bockhorn can also offer its children and young people a lot during the holidays this summer.

The calendar of events starts on August 1st with lots of fun and excitement at the same time. Then the popular paddle boat race on the Strogn takes place again. The meeting point is at 1 p.m. at the bridge in the district of Emling. Children from the age of six and adults can take part in this pleasure in the water; boats of all types are permitted. If the weather cooperates, a joint barbecue is planned after the race and the award ceremony. Also dependent on the weather are the children's Olympics on the Bockhorn sports field on August 6th, a so-called trial tennis at the Grünbach tennis club on August 7th and a bat run on September 1st or 3rd in Dorfen.

In any case, however, even if it rains, there is a fairytale hike through Grünbach on August 9, the film "Wickie and the strong men" on August 11 in the Bockhorn parish hall and the very popular hike with alpacas and llamas at the Pointnerhof Hohenlinden on August 13th.

If you want to try something handicraft, you are definitely right at Veronika Pfanzelt's two-day pottery and glazing workshop in her clay distillery in Salmannskirchen on August 19th and September 2nd.

Finally, Beate Welsch invite you to the puppet theater in front of the parish hall on August 10 and the farmers' market on August 12 to visit the beekeeper in Grünbach.

From next Tuesday, July 20th, lists will again be available in the foyer of the town hall, in which all interested parties can register in order to book these offers.

Registration forms can also be downloaded from the municipality's website.

Basically, three main and three additional bookings are possible.

The deadline is this Friday, July 16.

The lists of all participants will then be posted for inspection in the town hall from July 20th.
