reported, all the houses along the Vichtbach had to be evacuated in the evening in the medium-sized town with around 56,000 inhabitants.
The fire brigade apparently took a high risk with the evacuation measures.
In the video mentioned, a fire brigade's personnel carrier can be seen plowing through the water against the tide.
Spectacular: You can also see the firefighters apparently pulling a man out of the flood into the driver's cab of their fire engine.

And that's not all: When the person has been rescued, the fire brigade crew drives on towards several houses in the midst of the flood.
Apparently to warn residents of the floods and / or to rescue trapped people.
The video also shows a car that disappears completely in the masses of water.
