Construction and preparation of the general site continues in the expansion of Buqa suburb in Lattakia city, which is implemented by the Military Housing Corporation, bringing the overall completion rate to about 80 percent.
The project manager at the Military Housing Corporation Branch 2, Eng. Muslim Muhammad indicated that the project includes the construction of 46 residential towers containing 1,440 apartments with varying sizes ranging from 90 square meters to 140 square meters.
The completion rate has reached 80 percent, indicating that the construction of the final report of the project has taken place, with the completion of the rest of the work required in the other towers.
Eng. Mohammed pointed out that the works on the project started in 2009 and all the housing units were allocated, some of which beneficiaries started the internal cladding work, pointing out that the Corporation delivers the apartments on the structure with external cladding and the connection of the network (electricity, water, sewage and communications) to the entrance of each apartment with installation Electric lifts.
He pointed out that the works have been affected in recent years as a result of the siege conditions and the high costs and prices, and work is currently being done to complete the rest of the work, expected at the same time to be completed within two years.
The project manager indicated that the workshops are also working on preparing basic services in the public site, including roads, sidewalks and lighting, which are being implemented in parallel with the completion of residential buildings, pointing out that the general plan of the project also includes the establishment of a school for basic education, a kindergarten and a commercial mall.
