The initiators are looking for fellow campaigners on the way to an integration concept for the Fürstenfeldbruck district.

Among other things, welcome: people who have a migration background themselves.

Fürstenfeldbruck - The integration concept is less about reinventing the wheel than about optimizing it. “We want to build on what already exists and find out where there are serious deficits,” says Hans Sautmann. The Eichenau refugee helper sits for the Greens in the district council and is here a consultant for migration and integration. He initiated the creation of the concept and received broad support from the district council. Now the concept is to be pushed forward. There are six fields of action to be worked on. These are: education and language, training, work and economy, art, culture and religion, intercultural opening, life in society as well as living environment / living and health. Ultimately, the aim is for people with and without a migrant background to live together.

Decision-making circle should arise

For this reason, a so-called decision-making circle should now arise.

It should represent the internal project decision-making body and meet approximately every two to three months.

This group should include 20 people.

We are now specifically looking for people with a migration background who can contribute their experience and act as multipliers.

The decision-making group is to meet for the first time in September.

In addition, citizen workshops are to take place in which anyone interested can take part, regardless of their background.

In addition to Hans Sautmann, the core team also includes Mirko Sfeir (integration guide of the district administration), Michael Gumtau (AWO) and Andrea Gummert (Caritas). Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Hans Sautmann. Email: hans.sautmann@gmail.com, phone: (08141) 82179. Further contacts: mirko.sfeir@lra-ffb.de; dizeichenau@gmail.com or andrea.gummert@caritasmuenchen.de st
