Russia called for a "simultaneous exit of all foreign forces and factions" from Libya, expressing concern over the foreign military presence there.
Russia's First Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, said today that "what is considered a very important issue today is the foreign military presence in Libya," adding: "We call for a gradual and simultaneous exit of all foreign forces and factions from Libya."
It is noteworthy that the Libyan parties reached in Geneva in 2020 a ceasefire agreement that stipulated the necessity of the withdrawal of all foreign fighters from the country within 3 months.
Several reports confirmed that the Turkish regime sent thousands of terrorist mercenaries to Libya after its support for terrorist organizations in Syria, confirming its expansionist ambitions and its attempts to revive its Ottoman dreams.
