An information day with live music: the Peiting music teachers offered it last Saturday morning in front of the Peitinger parish hall.

For a good two hours, the visitors had the opportunity to hear all the instruments in different styles and scoring - both individually and in the interplay of different groups.

Peiting

- As always, the music teachers were on hand and answered the parents' questions about the various possibilities of musical training for their offspring.

The instruments were presented through the playing of the respective groups.

150 students from the market town alone are currently being taught by the 16 music teachers at the Peitinger Music School.

“The demand is good, but our music teachers would definitely be able to train more students,” says Andreas Fuchs.

He is the coordinator of the Peitinger Music School.

"Today," he says, "let's let the music do the talking."

It was a colorful musical program that students and teachers offered over the two hours.

Katja Brandl and Rebecca Simon delighted with songs from the Georges Bizet opera “Carmen”, Jonas Hunger and his music teacher Klaus Schmidt liked the “elevator music”.

The duo Felix and Paul played “Die kleine Nachtmusik” and “Wilde Jagd” with four hands.

Daniela Schnackenberg and Michel Biehler presented a fine flute piece, and the violin ensemble and rhythm section were among the other performers.

Incidentally, Andreas Fuchs was very satisfied with the visit on Saturday morning.

It was worth promoting this event in schools.

A small delegation from the Peitinger costume and miners' band was also involved in the two information hours at the music school.

They also use the opportunity to answer questions about musical training.

A nice idea: A small poster was clearly visible and clearly read “Have you ever worn a uniform?

It works with us ”.

Spotlessly clean uniform parts were ready.

Several music students took the opportunity and looked downright dashing in it.
