Only two and a half months left to vote and the SPD is slowly but surely competing with the Greens.
The top candidates also have a problem.
Berlin - A current survey for the upcoming federal election in 2021 shows: The SPD can look forward to a slight upward trend, the Greens have to take losses.
The CDU / CSU remains relatively constant at the top.
Specifically, this means: The SPD was able to increase to the current 19 percentage points.
The Union is still stable at 28 percent.
According to the
Spiegel
survey, the
Greens are
at 20 percent.
The FDP can also record a slight upward trend of eleven percent in the current survey.
Hardly anything has changed at the AfD: The party is constant at ten percentage points.
With six percentage points in the current survey, the left are now on the verge of missing the five percent hurdle.
Federal election 2021: the front runner is not Laschet, Baerbock or Scholz
When it comes to the distribution of potential votes for the top candidates themselves, Annalena Baerbock from the Greens and Olaf Scholz as the SPD top candidate are tied with 20 percentage points each.
But Armin Laschet is not that far ahead of the two either: with 25 percent he is still ahead of Baerbock and Scholz.
Still painful for the three chancellor candidates: Most of the respondents chose the category 'don't know' / 'none of the named' - 34 percent of the survey participants obviously could not warm up to the top candidates of the Union, SPD and Greens.
