Three young men left a shop in downtown Nuremberg without paying for the clothes.
The theft was exposed.
Nuremberg - Three suspected shoplifters were caught red-handed and arrested on Tuesday evening (July 13) in downtown Nuremberg.
The three young men are said to have stolen men's clothing worth several hundred euros, according to a message from the Central Franconian police headquarters.
Nuremberg: employee caught the alleged thieves
At around 7.30 p.m., an employee of a clothing store in downtown Nuremberg saw three men leaving the store.
However, without paying for the clothes that they had previously taken to the fitting.
An alerted patrol crew from the Nuremberg-Mitte police station immediately struck gold: the trio had bought men's clothing worth around 500 euros.
The men wore a large part of the clothing on their bodies.
Nuremberg: Suspected thieves provisionally arrested
The men, aged 17, 24 and 28, were provisionally arrested.
