The coronavirus infections in Bavaria are increasing again.
Particularly noticeable are individual regions spread across Bavaria that are suddenly heading for the 30 mark again - or have already exceeded it.
Munich - The era of single-digit incidence numbers is apparently over.
A look at the RKI dashboard now shows completely different corona numbers.
Bavaria is also at the forefront.
The nationwide seven-day incidence is still in the single digits at 9.4.
But individual regions in Bavaria are making worrying leaps again.
Corona in Bavaria: Incidence values are rising again - Several regions around the 30th
At the end of the week, the Upper Bavarian district of Starnberg on the border with Munich is at the forefront.
It has passed the 30 mark and, with 30.7, is third on the list of the highest incidence values in Germany.
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen in the Oberland is not much better off with 28.9 and thus in fourth place nationwide.
At least the initial cause of the new infections is known there: A high school graduation trip that mutated into a spreader event.
There, however, the incidence was already over 30 by Thursday and thus fell slightly on Friday.
The city of Bamberg is almost on par with 28.4.
While corona numbers are increasing in Bavaria: heads of government squabble
Meanwhile, the prime minister and his deputy get caught up in a vaccination debate.
Markus Söder (CSU) is thinking out loud about chargeable tests and further freedoms for vaccinated people, probably also to fuel the faltering corona vaccination campaign again.
Aiwanger wants to continue to treat vaccinated and tested people as equally as possible.
