Giffey is the top candidate of her party for the election to the Berlin House of Representatives on September 26th.

As an example, Giffey named Berlin's new U5 from Alexanderplatz to the main train station.
"My impression is that we are increasingly experiencing competition in the city, that is, cyclists against drivers, pedestrians against cyclists," said Giffey.
“From my point of view, that's not good.” Transport policy should be based on a basic attitude that allows every Berliner to be as mobile as he or she needs.
"Offers instead of bans - that must be the motto."
