There is no replacement location in sight for the controversial radio mast on Hattenhofener Flur: Deutsche Funkturm GmbH currently sees no alternative to placing it on the railway line.
Hattenhofen - After public protests against this location, the community approached the company again: with replacement proposals.
At the latest municipal council meeting, Mayor Franz Robeller (UWG Haspelmoor) now read from the response letter: The alternative locations are too far away from the ICE route, and another property is too small for the 30-meter-high mast.
Another location search refused the Deutsche Funkturm GmbH, quoted Robeller.
Reason: The building permit is already available, and a lot has already been invested.
With that the decision has probably been made.
Because Hattenhofen’s only chance that another location would be chosen depended on the goodwill of the client.
The district office had made it clear that the project and the location could not be shaken.
Representatives of the Deutsche Funkturm GmbH, which belongs to the Telekom, offer the Hattenhofenern an interview and want to answer questions.
Town hall chief Robeller said: "There will certainly be an information event for the citizens." Before this meeting, Robeller wants to measure how high the current cell phone radiation is in the municipality.
