Jeb Ramla cheese and dairy factory adds a new line for the production of fat cheese

Hama, SANA- The dairy and cheese factory at the Jub Ramla cattle station affiliated with the General Organization for Livestock has added a new line.

The dairy and cheese factory in the Jub Ramla cattle station of the General Corporation for Al-Baqer has added a new line for the production of cheese with fat, as part of the corporation’s plan to develop the plant to be added to the existing products, which are (milk - Labneh - salty cheese - Quraish) in addition to (Mozzarella cheese - Kashkaval cheese - Meshallal cheese). As well as the production of fresh cow's milk.

And Eng. Bashar Wassouf, director of the dairy and cheese factory at the Jub Ramla cow station, told SANA Economic Bulletin that all the factory’s products conform to the Syrian standard specifications, are of high quality and are 100% natural and made from whole milk and under the supervision of a specialized national staff, explaining that the amount of milk that is manufactured varies between 5 and 6 tons. The product is marketed daily through the direct sales outlet within the factory, marketing centers and outlets in cooperation with the Syrian Trade Establishment. Work is also underway to market the product to a number of private sector entities.

In turn, Eng. Malik Ghanem, director of the Jub Ramla cattle station, indicated that efforts are continuing to supply the local market with high-quality products in accordance with the best standards and specifications, and to enhance consumers’ confidence in the government product, as the plant derives its importance from its role in manufacturing, marketing and safely delivering the cow’s products to the consumer, adding that only 3 Years after the opening of the factory, its products gained a presence and confidence in the consumer market amid ambitions to expand production.

The worker, Ibtisam Al-Sarkal, explained the stages of milk production, which begins with receiving raw milk from the bacon, examining it, passing through the pasteurization device, and pumping it to the tank to be filled automatically and entered into a special room for fermentation and transferred to the refrigerator for safekeeping and transportation to the market the next day.
