Erding - The district of Erding is one of the largest clients for the local construction industry.
Matthias Huber from the property department in the district council gave an overview of the current projects.
At the
Anne Frank Gymnasium
, construction work has begun on the new triple gymnasium with a hard court on the roof.
First one of the three old halls will be demolished so that physical education can continue to take place during the construction period.
The total cost is 32 million euros.

Due to Corona and delivery problems, the construction of a cafeteria and rooms for the all-day school at the
Korbinian-Aigner-Gymnasium
is a bit behind schedule

According to Huber, the shell is in place and the interior work is in full swing.
The calculated 3.5 million euros can be kept.
The cafeteria opens after the autumn break, and the additional classrooms can already be used at the beginning of the school year.
The
vocational school
has had new fire protection since the beginning of 2020.
Everything should be ready by the end of the year, including a new fire alarm system and protective doors and flaps.
According to Huber, the cost estimate of 2.4 million euros can probably even be undercut.

music school
, the preparations for the upgrading of fire protection.
At
school Villages
in the summer holidays, a teaching kitchen is fitted - for around 95 000 euros.
All toilets in the
Katharina-Fischer-Schule
will be refurbished during the long vacation.
Everything should be ready by the autumn break.
At the
Herzog-Tassilo-Realschule
, the renovation of the roof over the north and west wings is also due in the summer holidays.
That will cost 620,000 euros.
Another 155,000 euros are reserved for a new photovoltaic system.
The project should be completed by the end of September / beginning of October, says Huber.
In its own right, the district is renovating and expanding the
old district office
on Langenzeile.
The geotechnical investigations with ram soundings and core drilling are currently underway.
The archway to the inner courtyard is being torn down.
Restoration examinations and a pollutant determination are also scheduled for July.
In spring 2022, Huber intends to submit the plans to the city for approval.
The construction of a new entrance building at the
farmhouse museum
on Taufkirchener Straße in Erding is
in the final stages
, which contains elements of what is probably the oldest architectural monument in the district - a farmhouse from 1621 from Pesenlern.
The farmers' market will also find a new home here.
Huber assumes that the planned amount of almost three million euros will remain.
The inauguration is to be celebrated in November or December.

clinic
, the complete renovation of the urology with the installation of two outpatient operating theaters has been completed.
The new main department of urology will be opened next week under the direction of chief physician Dr.

The district is spending almost one million euros on the new surgical outpatient clinics.
To this end, the classrooms of the former nursing school are being converted.
Huber reported: "The plan is to start the project immediately after the summer break and then to finish it quickly."
Just a few days ago, the district building committee decided on the tender for major renovation and expansion measures at the hospital.
The first concrete plans should be available at the end of 2021.
