The Communications and Postal Regulatory Authority announced that there is no truth to the news circulated on some social media pages about stopping 4G or 3G modems from working on the network.
The Commission confirmed in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today that all modems that worked on the Syrian network until the date of 3/18/2021 are workable and do not require permission fees, indicating that the cellular companies (Syriatel) and (MTN) have been informed of the activation of any modem. It works on the network before the date of the decision in the event of any complaints from subscribers.
