“Off to Ratsch mit ...” is the name of the new campaign by Christina Schmid and Lilly Schöffmann from “Bichl Miteinander”.

Start is in August.

Bichl

- The two young mothers had initiated a calendar campaign in the run-up to Christmas and, in the weeks leading up to Easter, had the idea of transforming the avenue of lime trees between Bichl and Benediktbeuern into a fasting path.

In doing so, they received support from many citizens.

In the meantime, with their commitment, the two women from Bichler have become a sub-group of the Bichler Frauenbund. “We all fit together well,” say the two of them. Your own name "Bichl Mit einer" will remain. The women's association now also covers the important issue of liability.

A lot has recently been posted on their homepage, such as information from associations or a reference to the district's new nature conservation campaign "Nature conservation begins with you." In the summer, Christina Schmid and Lilly Schöffmann will publish their own idea again - they are currently doing one small podcast series for which they interviewed various Bichlers.

Podcasts are audio contributions that can be listened to over the Internet.

In addition, there will be a typed version of each conversation that will hang in the women's association showcase at the church.

The first person to talk to is the mayor

The first conversation partner of the two was a few days ago Mayor Benedikt Pössenbacher. The talks should be "deliberately non-political and private," says Lilly Schöffmann. “It's not about election campaigns or things from the local council.” Bichlers are also interviewed who can say something about the development of the village, can talk about earlier times or have done something special for the village in some way, says Christina Schmid. “For example, there used to be a Kathrein dance here. Maybe you can revive something like that, ”she says. One could also describe what it was like at the Bichler outdoor pool in earlier decades. In addition, the honorary chairwoman of the women's association is still alive. “She also knows a lot from the past.” The two also want to interview a building yard employee.

The aim is to bring the different generations in Bichl into conversation and "to network with each other", says Lilly Schöffmann.

And Christina Schmid says: "People are also welcome to contact us with suggestions."

A little thank you at the end

The audio pieces should not be longer than five or six minutes each and appear on the website once a month.

However, the existing interviews will not be deleted.

They recently did intros and outros for the beginning and end of the audio piece.

The two are a bit excited, "after all, we've never done anything like this before," they say with a smile.

"We try to make it easy, like a normal conversation," says Christina Schmid.

They discuss the questions beforehand.

At the end of the meeting, each interlocutor receives a small thank you that was made in Bichl.

The first podcast can be heard on August 1st at www.bichl-mitanders.de.
