Anyone who is currently between the first and second corona vaccination can get the second prick unbureaucratically at the weekend in middle school.

The BRK readiness officially organizes the second part of the Astrazeneca special campaign there, the first vaccinations had taken place in the same place at the end of April.

Holzkirchen -

In order to push the vaccination campaign, not only the Astra vaccinates from April are welcome in the three-day special campaign of the BRK in the middle school.

"We don't send anyone home who wants a second vaccination," promises BRK readiness manager Elisabeth Proisl.

All manufacturers are in stock at the Holzkirchen weekend “vaccination center”.

According to the recommendation of the Standing Vaccination Commission (STIKO), an mRNA preparation is injected twelve weeks after the initial vaccination with the Astra vaccine, i.e. Moderna or Biontech.

“But we have all the vaccines there,” emphasizes the BRK boss.

Even a few doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which requires only one dose, can be inoculated in Holzkirchen.

Moderna and Biontech are so abundant that anyone who has already had their first appointment and is now waiting for the boost can come.

According to Proisl, the prerequisite is that the minimum time intervals specified by the respective manufacturers are observed.

This is three weeks at Biontech, 28 days at Moderna, and four weeks at Astrazeneca if an mRNA is used;

with Astra-Astra, if someone does not want cross-vaccination, twelve weeks are recommended.

"In general, we have resolved not to send anyone home unvaccinated," says Proisl.

From July 19th: "Happy Hour" in the vaccination center and in the hospital

The BRK is on duty with 38 volunteers.

During the vaccination campaign in the middle school, the test center takes a break in the same place.

The BRK team is waiting for vaccinees from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Proisl points out that the vaccination center in Hausham will be offering a "happy hour" for initial vaccinations from July 19, daily from 5 to 7 pm, with a free choice of vaccine and without prior notification.

The same offer is available at the Agatharied Hospital, there daily from 2 to 5 p.m.
