Egyptian political figures confirmed that President Bashar al-Assad's speech after taking the constitutional oath today was characterized by frankness and optimism, and it was evidence of Syria's victory over its enemies.

Muhammad Fayyad, a member of the Political Bureau of the Egyptian Progressive Gathering Party, said in a statement to SANA reporter in Cairo: President al-Assad’s speech came as announcing a new stage for the leadership of the axis of resistance and the Arab project against the forces that conspired against Syria to implement the new Middle East plan and the so-called “deal of the century,” pointing out that Syria will remain the solid rock in the face of the Zionist scheme.

In turn, Mohsen Attia, a former Egyptian parliamentarian and member of the political bureau of the Egyptian Nasserist Party, confirmed in a similar statement that President al-Assad's speech "diagnosed the Syrian, Arab and international scene in a practical way and confirmed that Syria did not change its policies and principles despite the terrorist war it was exposed to."

Attia explained that the speech focused on the postulates of patriotism and clarified how to struggle and build in light of the dangers facing our Arab region, indicating that the word is the word of the victorious leader based on great popularity that hostile international forces have not been able to influence.

In turn, Sayed Al-Asyouti, Vice President of the Citizenship and Human Rights Party and coordinator of the "We are the People" coalition, explained that President al-Assad's speech shed light on the Syrian reality and proceeded from a careful analysis of the past years towards drawing features for the near future and rebuilding and reconstructing what was destroyed by the terrorist war.

Al-Assiouty explained that the word is a declaration of victory and the transition to a new era and a different stage in the face of terrorism.
