Seine-Maritime: Elbeuf will not see its new commissioner, indicted for drug trafficking

The Elbeuf police station was to be taken over by a 44-year-old woman. But she is now prosecuted for drug trafficking in Seine-Saint-Denis.


The post of commissioner of Elbeuf remains vacant.

The applicant, a 44-year-old woman, was indeed indicted on July 1 for "

transport, possession, offer or sale, acquisition and use of narcotics and participation in a criminal association

" by the Bobigny prosecutor's office. The facts are recent: the incriminated period goes from September 2020 until June 2021. The implication was then in full ... training for the profession of commissioner.

She was suspended before leaving school.

This student commissioner has not been established due to an ongoing judicial investigation

, ”confirms the Information and Communication Service of the National Police (SICOP).

The woman was also placed under judicial supervision.

The investigation is carried out by the sub-directorate of the judicial police (SDPJ) of Seine-Saint-Denis.

The mayor of Elbeuf, Djoudé Meramet, declared that the post would remain vacant for the coming year: “
