With the participation of 43 horses, the Syrian Association for Purebred Arabian Horses and Basil Al-Assad Equestrian Club in Hama, in cooperation with the Horses Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, held the fifth periodic sprint race.

The race, which included six runs, witnessed wide participation and strong competitions to take the podium. The horse Qaqaa Gharib managed to take first place in the first half of the pure Syrian Arab horses, fourth degree, for a distance of 1400 metres. The title of the third set for the horses registered in the fourth degree for a distance of 1400 metres.

The horse Store of Al-Sabaa won first place in the fourth race for horses registered in the third degree for a distance of 1400 meters, the horse Mukhtar, the title of the fifth race for pure horses, the third degree for a distance of 1400 meters, and the horse Ward Al-Mahaini won the title of the sixth race for pure horses registered for a distance of 2000 metres.

The Vice-President of the Syrian Association for Purebred Arabian Horses, Tariq Abdul Rahim, told SANA Sports Reporter that Hama is one of the important provinces in hosting equestrian races and has a good number of Arab horses, and that its races are witnessing the presence of large crowds, pointing out that the current race witnessed strong and exciting competitions, and most of the results were not resolved. The runs are only in the last few metres, which means that equestrianism is still strong and has a good future.

The director of the equestrian facility in Hama, Abdul Raouf Al-Khani, pointed out that the race witnessed wide participation from various governorates, and the organization was distinguished, and new riders were able to reach the podiums for the first time, indicating that this is the second race hosted by the governorate out of four races that will be held on the land of the equestrian facility this year in Hama, whose jockeys have become essential in equestrian races every year due to its long history in this sport.

The Director of the Police Equestrian Club, Lt. Col. Mahmoud Al-Masry, indicated that his club does not fail to participate in any race, and that it always achieves distinguished results and competes for the first places in most of the runs, indicating that the current race witnessed excitement, friendliness and wide participation, which indicates that equestrianism is still receiving great public interest. wide.

Horse breeder Ibrahim Al-Saba pointed out that his victory in the fourth round of the race was important and the beginning of the road to a strong start in the upcoming equestrian races in various governorates.
