Bad Tölz - does everything fit in Tölz?

Mayor Ingo Mehner saw this as pointless as long as the free state funding process was not completed. Only then could the city council talk about the expansion. That in turn disliked the trio from Bairawieser Strasse, who did not want to see why a temporary construction road was being built without subsidies, but why their road was not being expanded. City councilor René Mühlberger, who is also chairman of the transport commission,tried himself as a mediator in the increasingly violent exchange of blows. He would try to get into conversation with the residents, he suggested.
Will there still be fun in Tölz?
"Will the Tölzer spa plans be pursued?" Asked Wolfgang Holzberger and also asked about the IGM campus project of the Tourist Info.
“The city council finally buried the spa,” said Ingo Mehner.
The economic risk was too high.

Dieter Höflich, a member of the Seniors' Advisory Board, called for more accessibility and maintenance of the hiking trails in the interests of the disabled.
He also mentioned the entrance to the city library.
In town you can keep an eye on that, said Mehner.
This is more difficult with forest paths, since forest work is always taking place there.
New hotel building: Please preserve the charm of the area
Ingrid Mellert asked that when building the new hotel on Bockschützstrasse, ensure that the charm of the area was retained.
And she asked: Why are there no flower boxes on the Isar Bridge?
According to Mehner, the latter would quickly become victims of vandalism.
On the subject of the hotel, the mayor reminded us that “the hotel operators don't queue up here”.
They are “very happy” that there is now an investor and operator who knows how a hotel works, who brings a certain clientele of guests and who can create large units.
Only first pictures of the architectural style would be available.
"That won't be the final building."
Beach volleyball court: why is it closed?
“Why is the beach volleyball court at the Tölzer Gymnasium not open?” Asked Stefan Lecheler.
“Vandalism, stupidity and alcohol consumption” from those partying there are the causes, replied the mayor.

The beach volleyball court will be made lockable, Mehner announced one of several measures.
Where else can the youth celebrate?
"Where should the young people go when they want to celebrate in Tölz", Moritz Reischl-Zand made himself the spokesman for the youth.
In green spaces, according to Mehner, celebrations are not prohibited at all, only alcohol consumption.

"Cold expropriation" on Isarleitenweg
Max Hildenbrand called it “cold expropriation”, which the city is planning to widen the Isarleitenweg to 5.50 meters.
"It's not," replied Mehner.
The path is only set at 5.50 meters in the development plan.
Otherwise the houses would not be considered developed, which would make future building difficult.
The mayor also defended the planned three apartment blocks, which were also criticized.
There is an urgent need for apartments and here they are being created with multi-storey buildings.
You no longer walk alone the way from individual properties with 1000 square meters of land.
Lid for trash can
The open rubbish bins in town are a thorn in the side of Inge and Martin Hake.
It is often observed that crows searched the trash cans and distributed the garbage.
Isn't it possible to gradually replace the rubbish bins with ones with a lid?
Mehner announced that this would happen step by step, referring to the city's furnishing concept.
The trash cans were given lids with a slot.
Lots of people didn't want to touch the lids in the first place.
If there was a slit in it, they could get rid of their waste without touching it.
