I have to go to Corsica by plane from July 27 to August 3, I am not vaccinated, will I have the right to leave?
Dear Mathilde and SDunon,
Since July 1, departure for Corsica from mainland France is subject to the presentation of a health pass for travelers from 11 years of age.
Adolescents are therefore concerned.
Several options are available to you, as detailed in the Corsica Regional Health Agency.
You can present, before boarding, at your choice:
A negative PCR test less than 72 hours old
An antigen test dating back less than 48 hours
A vaccination certificate
A positive PCR or antigen test carried out more than fifteen days and less than six months before the trip, attesting to immunity to Covid.
You must also sign a sworn statement that symptoms are not present.
Parents complete the attestation for their minor children.
For the return to France, however, you will not be asked for any of these documents.
At least if you are a juillettist.
Because if you leave or return in August, you will be subject to additional rules.
As Emmanuel Macron announced on July 12, the health pass will be mandatory from August 1 in planes, trains and long-distance coaches.
This means that you will need to present either a vaccination certificate, or a negative PCR or antigen test result of less than 48 hours this time, or a positive result attesting to a cure from the Covid.
But your children will not be affected since Olivier Véran has announced a tolerance for 12-17 year olds until August 30.
You can download your health documents on the TousAntiCovid application, and present the generated QR code to border control.
Supporting documents in paper format are of course still accepted.
Let us also recall, since many of you ask us about the subject, which France now considers, indicated the Minister of Health Olivier Véran on July 13, that the vaccination schedule is complete when a week has elapsed after the second. injection for double dose vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca).
Problem: the other countries you will visit consider that you are fully vaccinated at least 14 days after the second dose ... We explain everything in this article.
Have a nice trip !
