70 young men and women who participated in the voluntary educational camp held by the City Association in the Daraa branch of the Revolutionary Youth Union carried out a public hygiene campaign in the airport district corniche in the city center in cooperation with the Daraa City Council.
The campaign included cleaning the Corniche of weeds and garbage, as the city council provided the necessary mechanisms and tools for the campaign.
Ghalia Abu Shuqair, Hadiyat Al-Fares and Anaam Al-Homsi, who participated in the campaign, confirmed that it comes at the conclusion of the camp's various activities, which included sports, music, entertainment and educational activities, explaining that it contributes to promoting volunteer activity among young people and encourages the community to cooperate in activities that benefit all its segments.
Engineer Amin Al-Omari, head of Daraa City Council, pointed out the importance of voluntary activities that take place in partnership between youth and public authorities.
It is noteworthy that the voluntary educational camp of the City League was launched early last week at the Women's Arts High School.
