Prime Minister Naftali Bennett today (Sunday) instructed measures to increase enforcement of corona restrictions.

In the conference he convened, he ordered, among other things, the filing of criminal indictments against patients who violate isolation, defining events, with an emphasis on weddings, as a top task for enforcement and regulating legal approvals for the use of technological means to monitor isolates.

“Our goal is to establish sensible guidelines, alongside aggressive and effective enforcement against violators,” Bennett said.

"Whoever violates the guidelines endangers his health and the rest of the citizens of Israel. We will not allow this. The delta mutation is soaring all over the world. The implementation of the guidelines in the field is a critical component in managing the epidemic to defeat the mutation."
