Brazil recorded 868 deaths and 34,339 new infections with the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours.

The Brazilian Ministry of Health stated in its latest data that the total number of injuries in the country has so far reached 19 million and 342,448 injuries, while the number of deaths has reached 541,266 cases.

Brazil ranks second in the world in terms of the number of deaths after the United States and the third in the number of HIV infections after the United States and India.

In Germany, data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases showed that the number of confirmed infections rose to three million and 744,681 cases after 1292 new injuries were recorded, while the number of deaths reached 91,362 after three new deaths were recorded.

In Mexico, the Ministry of Health recorded 225 deaths and 12,631 new infections with the virus, bringing the total number of deaths from the disease to 236,240, and infections to 2,654,699 cases since the outbreak of the epidemic.

The number of daily infections in Mexico rose in the past seven days to levels not seen in the country since February.

In turn, China recorded 33 new cases of corona yesterday, up from 30 the day before.

The National Health Committee indicated that only one of the new infections was local.

According to the committee's data, the total number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in mainland China reached 92,246, while the number of deaths remains stable at 4,636.
