Panama City-Sana
An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale struck Panama, but no injuries or damage were reported.
The Institute of Earth Sciences of the University of Panama stated that the epicenter of the earthquake was 168 kilometers from the Panamanian city of Punta Burica in the waters of the Pacific Ocean and at a depth of 10 kilometers from the surface of the earth.
In turn, seismic centers in neighboring Costa Rica indicated that earthquakes of magnitude 5.9 were recorded in areas near Panama.
