Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed that the West invented the story of chemical weapons and is maliciously using them against Syria and Russia as an appropriate pretext.
“Moscow believes that the contradictions in the draft report of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons on the situation with Alexei Navalny are malicious and systematic fraud by the West,” Zakharova told Russia 1 TV today, adding: This is a fraud and even a series of frauds to form the necessary opportunist agenda of Western countries.
And she continued, "I have no ability to doubt that the situation in question is not wrong, but rather a malicious act."
She pointed out that "there have been a huge number of such mistakes over the years, and when these mistakes line up behind each other, they become a system," pointing to the US-French-British aggression against Syria, which was carried out under the pretext of the presence of chemical weapons and accusations of their use by the Syrian government in Douma.
Zakharova expressed regret at the inability of the West to change itself, as it believes that it must change all others, and first of all international law is hindering its plans.
In addition, Zakharova confirmed that the United States of America has not submitted a single report on its military operations in Afghanistan since its beginning in 2001.
She explained that the United States, despite all the warnings, calls and pledges, did not come once during the twenty-year period to the UN Security Council to present a report to it on the time limits of its campaign in Afghanistan and its results.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov indicated that the situation in Afghanistan is deteriorating at a rapid pace with increasing uncertainty about the prospects for the security and political situation in the country against the backdrop of the withdrawal of the United States and NATO forces from Afghan territory, stressing that the alliance's mission in Afghanistan has failed .
