A new rainy episode is expected this Monday in eastern France with a risk of significant flooding in the North-East.
According to Météo France maps, four departments remain in flood orange vigilance: Aisne (02), Ardennes (08), Marne (51) in the North, Saône-et-Loire (71) in the 'East of the country.
The Meuse (55), previously in orange on Sunday, changes to yellow this Monday due to heavy rains in the afternoon.
In total, 27 departments in the east of France are on yellow alert in the face of the risk of thunderstorms and intense rains.
Météo France requires special attention in these sectors on Monday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Destructive bad weather in Belgium and Germany
Germany and Belgium were particularly affected by the floods with a heavy human toll.
Houses swept away by landslides, sunken roads, destroyed water and electricity networks… bad weather has devastated many areas with spectacular images in German and Belgian cities for a week.

With nearly 165 deaths in Germany alone, German Chancellor Angela Merkel reacted on Sunday when a trip to the village of Schuld, near Bonn.
She called the state of destruction caused by the flooding "surreal" and added: "The German language has difficulty finding the words to describe the devastation caused".
Several experts and politicians have questioned climate change according to AFP.
Angela Merkel called for "a very big effort" to accelerate climate policies.
In Belgium, nearly 31 dead were identified this Sunday evening and "163 citizens" are still wanted according to information collected by AFP from the Belgian crisis center.
