Canada reopens its land border from August 9 to fully immunized U.S. citizens and permanent residents living in the United States, the government announced Monday (July 19).

The land border between Canada and the United States, the longest in the world, has been closed to non-essential travel since March 21, 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
