Frida Kahlo, a rebellious woman who broke barriers

Considered a rebel, brave, revolutionary and an example of resilience, Frida crossed the limits of social convention and broke barriers to transform herself into an artist and a woman who represented her own truth.

According to the official profile of the Frida Kahlo Museum in Mexico City, "she did not paint her dreams, but her reality. Her personality has been adopted as one of the flags of feminism, disability, sexual freedom and Mexican culture ".

It is said that she was a woman ahead of her time.

And even that much of his work anticipates what we now call "selfies."

However, in general, "selfies" show people's happy moments.

Instead, Frida used the autobiographical device to show, openly, the sad and difficult moments of her life.

The worlds in which the painter lived based on her art thus appear more visible than ever.

In addition, music is a very important element in "Immersive Frida".

Performed by women interpreters of regional and traditional Mexican music from Oaxaca, Chiapas, Toluca and Mexico City, it delves into Frida's personal and artistic landscape.
