Political leaders, media and NGOs in Greece were outraged Monday, July 19 at a new feminicide, with the murder of a young woman of 26, pushed into the void by her companion during an argument during their vacation on an island Greek.

The young Greek drowned in the Aegean Sea after being pushed on Saturday by her friend on a rocky slope of 30 meters on the Cycladic island of Folegandros, according to the first information of the police.
Her alleged killer, a Greek in his thirties, fled after the homicide, which was not discovered until Sunday.
Arrested, the thirty-something then confessed to the homicide.
He is due to appear on Tuesday before the investigating judge on the island of Naxos, administrative capital of the Cyclades, according to the same source.
