After a long Corona dry spell, it was a festival with many live bands, a large marquee and dance.

The Country Gringos from Moosinning inaugurated their little western town on Saturday.

Moosinning - Chairman Manfred Böhm was proud of the association: “Around 40 percent of all members took part here. The hard core was of course smaller and consisted of about eight people. ”And they would have worked for 26 weeks on the site in Schnabelmoos, which belongs to the community. "There will be a lot going on here now," announced the chairman. The Country Gringos think of markets, of two festivals a year. "We have already had inquiries from companies who want to use the site for events," said Böhm. The club will then also provide a supporting program - with horseshoe and lasso throwing and much more.

First, however, the party was celebrated - with a sophisticated hygiene concept, clearances in the marquee and registration. There was space for 250 visitors on the site. That was also checked at the entrance. Two tents were placed one behind the other: At one end was the stage for the live bands, where the local groups with “Floyd Roses” and the “Old Stable Gamblers” dominated, especially if you were “Open Range” from the Ebersberg district and generously counts from Rosenheim.

The scene is networked: line dance formations had arrived, sometimes with nine members like our friends Munich line dancers, who stormed the dance floor to the New Country sounds and were later joined by the Renegades from Hallbergmoos.

They had to rely on reasonably dry weather, because the boards could quickly become slippery.

A device for wiping dry after a downpour was already ready.

In general, the association set up a perfect organization, countless volunteers were on duty on Saturday, be it as stewards to monitor the hygiene regulations or at the cake buffet.
