Relief for managers of shopping centers. The Council of State revoked Monday evening the obligation which was made to them to control the health passes of their customers. The measure had already been relaxed and only concerned the largest 20,000 m2 (400 in France).
"This is a good decision which takes up the legal reservations that we expressed from the start",
welcomes Jacques Creyssel, president of the Federation of Commerce and Distribution (FCD). In fact, the measure made it difficult, if not impossible, for unvaccinated people to access food stores and pharmacies in shopping centers. The Council of State saw it as
"a disproportionate attack on the freedoms of those concerned with regard to the issues pursued".
