Today, Iraqi forces arrested one of the leaders of ISIS terrorists, or what is known as the governor of Baghdad.
And the Iraqi Security Media Cell stated in a statement transmitted by Alsumaria News that a qualitative operation based on proactive information enabled the National Security Agency to arrest the so-called Wali of Baghdad after monitoring and prosecuting three Iraqi governorates.
The statement indicated that the terrorist admitted to leading many terrorist operations against civilians and security forces, and his intention was to plan attacks in the capital, Baghdad.
The Iraqi forces arrested, earlier today, seven terrorists during their security operations in pursuit of the remnants of ISIS terrorists in Kirkuk and Nineveh.
