(55), who since Wednesday, July 14, has been admitted to the Argentine Institute of Diagnosis and Treatment (IADT) in the Recoleta neighborhood after testing positive for coronavirus (Covid-19),
was transferred to intensive care after that his health would be complicated.
This was confirmed by his personal doctor, Mario Fitz Maurice, in dialogue with

(Radio Uno, FM 103.1), a radio program where Weich works with Maby Wells.
“We added a medication to him last week and he responded well.
The biochemical parameters that mark the inflammatory process lowered, but the weekend had a torpid evolution.
He began to have more oxygen requirements to be able to breathe better and for safety reasons I decided to transfer him to intensive care ”
, said Fitz Maurice.
“At this moment he is conscious with a high flow oxygen cannula, at rest, but
controlled in intensive therapy with the biochemical parameters that seem to stabilize
, but we need those oxygen requirements that he has to decrease so that he does not have to accelerate his respiratory rate ”, explained the doctor.
"For safety reasons, I decided to transfer him to intensive care," said Julián Weich's personal physician.

Then, he explained about his patient: “He has been more stable for 24 hours, but he is in intensive care for a safety issue.
At no time during the hospitalization did he tell me that he feels bad, he always smiles at me and talks to me, today he told me that he felt better than yesterday.
“The markers that we measure have improved with medication, but the chemical part improves.
The part of damage that caused the inflammatory process and that respiratory failure caused by the infiltrate that the virus causes in both lungs,
has generated that it requires more oxygen concentrations, that is why we put the high-flow cannula ”
, continued Fitz Maurice.
"That in the last hours no complications have arisen plays in favor and that it is not worse is good news," he
said.
"He is receiving everything that is shown in the medical evidence for this type of case," the doctor stressed, noting that
"the prognosis is reserved because we need to evaluate some more parameters of its stabilization.
For her part, Maby Wells said that the Weich family does not want to provide more information about the driver's health than what they will be giving in the program.
“I ask colleagues to treat the information with respect and only with what Mario said.

Weich tested positive for Covid on Thursday, July 8, which is why he stayed at home complying with mandatory isolation.
His health was optimal, he even continued to remotely carry out his cycle on Radio Uno.
But on Wednesday the 13th, he began to feel bad and on the recommendation of his doctor, he made the decision to be admitted.
As his neighbors noticed that the driver left their house, they called 911 and
reported him for breaking the mandatory isolation.
The police arrived at the scene and found that Weich was not present, however, before starting the judicial issues related to the isolation breaches, they were informed of the reason why the driver was not present.
