A combo of anger, indignation and violence was experienced during the weekend in La Matanza
.
The reason was the reaction of a
group of
Isidro Casanova's
neighbors
, who
reduced an alleged 16-year-old thief.
After catching him, they beat him
,
stripped him
and
tied him to a light pole until, alerted to the situation, the police arrived and protected the accused boy.
The
incident occurred on Saturday afternoon
, when the
teenager
was
recognized by two merchants
who identified him as the alleged
perpetrator of several robberies that
businesses in the area
had suffered
the previous week.
"Both merchants told police personnel that they had recognized him for illegal acts committed last week, which were not reported, a situation for which when they saw him in the block, they ran and reduced him," explained a source from the investigation to the regional medium Close-up.
